A wonderful tuition especially for our GATE/scholarship preparation. Great teachers both in math and English and also with the well-organized schedule saved a lot of time for kid in preparations. Atrociously lazy marking. They can’t even follow their own marking key for multiple choice tests.
Just found 8 marking errors in a single 35 question test. And still have half the test to review.
Don’t waste my time and money on this sham!

My son gained pretty good score in GATE this year and received an offer from PMS. My son attended Scholastic Excellence school holiday program and before GATE exam seminar. He said it was really helpful. Also Schoolastic Excellence has catch up action to help student's dealing well with the interviews.

definitely recommend!My son attended the GATE classes before test. He feels good. There were a lot of questions of GATE style. The classes are in small groups with less than 10 students. The mock test is good and helps a lot with my son.

If it weren't for the Scholastic Excellence tutoring service there would've been no way that I'd receive the results that I've hoped for. The lecture notes are not only straight-forward and comprehensible but also reflect the syllabus dot points and past exam questions. In addition, Mr Yap always went above and beyond providing extra challenging questions (that you cannot find in your study guides) and has taught us various methods on how to tackle one problem. Furthermore, no matter how little you know or even if you don't understand a simple concept, he would take his time to make sure you understand the concept fully. Thus, it is his respect and patience for students that differentiates him from other teachers. I can guarantee you that this tutoring service will help any student who wishes to excel in their chosen subjects.

(another bonus is that Mr Yap is super friendly and hilarious, so it's really easy to approach him with any questions that you have :) )

I’m extremely thankful to Mr Yap and Scholastic Excellence for providing the best tutoring service. The detailed notes combined with the quizzes before each test and all the practice questions from different exams have certainly helped me so much throughout my last two years of high school. Mr Yap is an amazing tutor in areas of mathematics, physics and chemistry and I always walk out of his class feeling confident for any upcoming assessments. I can’t express my gratitude enough for Mr Yap and would highly recommend Scholastic Excellence to all the students out there!

The structure of the course is such that no area of the syllabus is left untouched, and there is always extension work designed specifically for you. The workspace is also very relaxing and friendly. Thank you Mr Yap for teaching me in my final years and Serena for coordinating all of this. The detailed notes and multiple exam/test like questions has greatly benefited me and improved my marks over the year, especially Chemistry (close to 20% increase). Scholastic has provided an extensive amount of care and effort in guiding students to success. I highly recommend joining if you are struggling or wanting to gain further understanding in Maths Methods/Specialist, Chemistry etc. Once again thank you for everything.

After sitting for the GATE test and missing out by .47 we decided to look for some tutoring for my daughter. After trying another tutoring company and not really getting anything out of it we came across scholastic excellence academy. After meeting with Serena we knew that this would be the right fit for my child. The teachers and students are engaged in the lessons and prepared my daughter for her 2nd chance in the GATE program. Mr Yap is an excellent tutor who is very experienced in areas of maths, chemistry and physics. He has helped me incredibly throughout year 11 and year 12 and has done so much to ensure that I do well in all of my subjects. I attended Scholastics for one term in Year 5. I was assessed and placed in a level that challenged me constantly. All the assistants were friendly and helpful. Scholastics helped me improve, and this can be seen through GATE. I would recommend Scholastics to all students and I hope you improve as much as I did. I am joining Perth Modern School in 2020!

Scholastic Excellence has been an extremely beneficial tutoring and education provider for my child. The program is tailored to both ends of the spectrum, those students requiring catch up as well as those requiring extension to continue to extend and challenge those gifted and talented children. We have enrolled in holiday intensive programs as well as term programs and the results have been significant in achieving results. The program provides recognition and reward for students thereby providing further motivation for them to ensure their success. I can not recommend Scholastic Excellence highly enough for those parents wanting to ensure success for their children’s education and seeing the results speak for themselves.

To Serena and her team, thank you very much. Her dedication, support and reassurance has been crucial in ensuring my childrens success and also in keeping my sanity😊.
My children owe a lot to scholastic excellence. All three if them were blessed to get into PEAC and GATE schools and did extremely well in all their NAPLAN exams.
From all the extra work given by scholastis, my children have also performed very well in the Australian Maths Competition, getting distinctions and high distinctions.
Currently my oldest has graduated from Perth Modern and my younger two are in Rossmoyne Senior High School.
So thank you Scholastic Excellence. God bless each one of you. ❤

Thanks for your coaching and guidance. Your comprehensive notes have helped me a lot throughout my WACE last year and I would highly recommend others to attend Scholastic Excellence Tuition. I've tried numerous tuition places in Perth, however, by far Scholastic Excellence is the very best. My only regret, is not having started with Scholastic Excellence earlier.
